The team of Jimmy Cannoy of Martinsville, VA and Chris Bullock of Fountain, NC took tops honors in the sixth qualifying event on Buggs Island with a 6 fish limit topping the scales at 18.16 pounds. Jimmy and Chris creel was anchored with the tournament lunker, a 5.20 pounder. Jimmy and Chris netted $1700 for the event. They also qualified for the Triton Gold bonus. Congratulations to Jimmy and Chris on a great catch when fishing was pretty tough.
The team of Brandon Grey of Bullock, NC and Nathan Webber of Boone, NC were tourney runner-ups with a 6 fish limit weighing 18.02 pounds. Brandon and Nathan's creel was anchored by the #2 tournament lunker, a 4.98 pounder. Brandon and Nathan earned $920 for the day's effort.
The team of Doug Stallings of Stem, NC and Mark Spell of Timberlake, NC rounded out the top three with a 6 fish limit weighing 17.98 pounds for $290.
