The 2011 Angler’s Choice Team Tournament Trail was a great success. We would like to give a big hats off to our Tournament Director, Chris Lucas, for overseeing one of the top 5 Tournament Trails in the country. Chris works hard, not just at tournament time, but all year, getting ramp permits, and setting the structure for our trail. We take pride in his diligence and for the integrity he lends to our trail.

Our whole working staff is outstanding. Damien McMahon, the assistant tournament director, was there by Chris’s side for every event. Special thanks to Susan Franklin and Cathy Eads for administrative support.

Thanks to Lisa Thompson for shopping tirelessly and helping feed everyone. Thanks to Stephanie Bailey & Portland Shelton for making the great photos you all see on our website. Thanks to the support staff of Jeff Franklin, our weighmaster, Dr. Ed Clayton, Robert Majerick, Greg and Sandra Vick, Mike Bryant, Tim Bailey, John Schaefer, Bill Goots, Jeff and Brenda Smith, Gary Guilliams, and Dr. Butch Kartesz. This trail could not function so flawlessly without each and every one of them. They have been there through rain, ice, mud and sludge, wind gusts that tore our tents apart, burning hot days, and even a tornado. Hats off to each of you for a job well done.

Thank you for your attendance and support.  We have some good ideas for next year, these include a pontoon for catch and release, and more events to include your children. If any of you have constructive ideas in that regard, please email Chris or Sandi or Nick and we will implement those if possible.
